Olympic Programs & Tickets

Visitors to the Olympic Games often purchase both: First an entry ticket, then a day programme. The programme guides the interested spectators through the day's events for example, in the Olympic Stadium with a wealth of information about the athletic competitions.

During the history of the Modern Olympic Games, the programmes have become increasingly detailed, comprehensive and informative. Both day programmes and programmes for individual sport disciplines have been and still are printed in large numbers.

Most visitors who have purchased a ticket and a day or event programme will keep them as souvenirs. Thus, many a foundation stone has been laid for an interesting collection.

The tickets for the Olympic Games have also enjoyed an extraordinary development. The ticket evolved from a simple unpretentious printout, through superbly coloured graphic compositions to high-quality security paper.

No other Olympic memorabilia has such a high print run or such a large diversity as tickets.
